The value-fit worksheet
Line up what people actually need against what you're building, until the two match.
This worksheet sits next to the project canvas and zooms in on one question: does what you're building actually match what people need? On one side you list the things people are trying to get done, what's getting in their way, and what would make it better. On the other side you list what you're offering and how it helps. The goal is fit. You keep adjusting your side based on what people told you until the two line up. If part of what you built doesn't help with anything anyone actually mentioned, it comes off.
